This course begins with working with Text, Throughout these lessons we are going to look at extracting characters from text strings using left mid and right, were going to clean text using Trim, Proper, Upper and Lower. We are then going to edit and amend text using Find, Search, Substitute and replace and we are also going to look at joining text using Auto fill, Ampersand and Concatenate.

After this we will move into Date and Time. You will learn how formatting is used to display date and time, and how the serial number behind both of these can be used in formula to carry out date math and more complex calculations.

In addition to the above you will also learn about custom formatting and formatting codes in Excel

By the end of this course you will be able to create dynamic labels, Use a master date to drive all other dates in a workbook, use formatting to display data the way you want and much much more.
